Call for Participants:
You are invited to participate in a research study about the ways that Latina college students develop as it relates to their identities throughout their college years. Specifically, I am looking to comprehend how maternal figures help shape the ways that Latina college students make meaning of their intersecting identities.
In order to participate, you should:
Participants must be undergraduate students (18-25 years of age)
• Participants must identify as Latina women. This includes both cisgender and transgender women.
• Participants and their mothers must be of Latin American descent. For this study, we define Latin American descent as having roots from the Caribbean Islands, Central, or South America)
What will this require? Individuals selected to participate will engage in two, individual interviews with two researchers via Zoom over the course of a semester. Interviews will take roughly 60-90 minutes. Upon completion of the study, each participant will be emailed a $20 Amazon e-Gift Card as a form of compensation for their time and energy.
If you meet the above participation criteria, please complete the Consent and Demographic Form: https://auburn.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_bNtpjbOItJaGviJ
